Who we are
GoPortX is a global chauffeur and private hire service, with a head office in London. For privacy questions we are the controller of personal data submitted through this website.

What we collect
When you request a quote or book, we typically store:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Pickup and drop-off addresses, dates, times, and stops
- Passenger and luggage counts, vehicle choice, and notes
- Quoted price and how you chose to pay
Card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers, CVV, or full card details on our servers. Stripe may send us a payment status and reference so we can confirm the booking.
Address search and route distance use Google Maps. Google may process the addresses you type in order to return suggestions and a distance.
Why we use it
- To provide a quote and fulfil your booking
- To email a confirmation after a successful card payment
- To contact you about the journey
- To keep records we need for the service and accounts
- If you accept analytics cookies, to understand how the public website is used (Google Analytics 4)
We rely on taking steps to enter a contract with you (booking and payment), our legitimate interests in running the service, and consent for optional analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
- Stripe - card checkout and payment confirmation
- Google - Maps (addresses you search) and Analytics (only if you accept)
- Hostinger - website and database hosting
- Our operations team - to assign a driver and run the trip
We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens they use their own safeguards (for example Stripe and Google standard contractual clauses).
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar storage. Analytics cookies are off until you accept them on the banner.

How long we keep data
Booking records are kept for as long as we need them to run the trip, handle queries, and meet accounting or legal duties. Analytics data is held by Google under their Analytics retention settings. Staff session cookies last 24 hours.
Your rights
If you are in the UK you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain uses, and receive a copy of data you provided. To do that, email info@goportx.com.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
